This is where I'll post each week's assignments in AP Environmental Science. Students taking Environmental Science (non-AP) should refer to that Assignments page instead.
Week 38: Tuesday, May 31st – Friday, June 3rd
Hello for the final time this school year! I hope you had a peaceful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. This week, we'll be building solar ovens in class, and then on Friday, we'll try to bake some biscuits using the sun. The forecast looks great right now, but it's northeast Ohio, so who knows!
I hope you enjoy your final week as juniors! Thanks for all of your hard work this school year. Please consider signing up to take Intro to Computer Science, AP Computer Science Principles, or AP Computer Science A (Java) with me next school year. Have a great summer break, and I'll see you in the fall!

Week 36: Monday, May 16th – Friday, May 20th
This is the week! On Tuesday, we'll take our annual all-day field trip to the Hiram College Biological Field Station. The weather forecast looks clear but cool, so wear hiking boots/old tennis shoes, long pants or jeans, and a hat, and bring a water bottle and bug spray. For lunch, we'll have cheese pizza, a bag of chips, a granola bar and a pop or bottled water. If you haven't done so already, PLEASE BRING YOUR SIGNED PERMISSION FORM TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY. We'll be doing the equivalent of five assignments on the field trip, so you'll definitely want to attend so that you don't have to do the make-up assignments on your own. Here's the plan for the week:

It's May – this is it! All of our prep work has led to this moment. The AP Environmental Science Exam will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd at 8am at Central School. You can either meet in the RHS Auditorium atrium at 7:30am and ride the bus over to Central, or you can have a parent or guardian drop you off, but you are not permitted to drive yourself because of parking issues.

ALL PROGRESS CHECKS AND BOOK HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE BEFORE YOU TAKE THE EXAM! There's no point in doing them after you've already taken the exam, so they won't be accepted past that date.
