Hello for the final time this school year! I hope you had a peaceful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. This week, we'll be building solar ovens in class, and then on Friday, we'll try to bake some biscuits using the sun. The forecast looks great right now, but it's northeast Ohio, so who knows!

This is the week! On Tuesday, we'll take our annual all-day field trip to the Hiram College Biological Field Station. The weather forecast looks clear but cool, so wear hiking boots/old tennis shoes, long pants or jeans, and a hat, and bring a water bottle and bug spray. For lunch, we'll have cheese pizza, a bag of chips, a granola bar and a pop or bottled water. If you haven't done so already, PLEASE BRING YOUR SIGNED PERMISSION FORM TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY. We'll be doing the equivalent of five assignments on the field trip, so you'll definitely want to attend so that you don't have to do the make-up assignments on your own.
